THINKPLAN, originally first a strategy implementation model, was founded by Estelle Gautier, who can personally deliver on each of the THINKPLAN services. She believes that the strength of an organisation lies in teams being able to collaborate and deliver.
Estelle Gautier is the founder of Thinkplan and qualified in Communication and Psychology at the University of Johannesburg and continued her post-graduate studies (Hons) in Industrial Psychology. She successfully completed the research module part (one-year credit) on master’s level in Organizational psychology for non-degree purpose and has completed all requirements for her Master’s degree in Programme Evaluation (Commerce) at the University of Cape Town (UCT). The focus of her study was on Collaborative Management of Natural Resources (water sector). She is expecting her results during 2019. Estelle is also an accredited facilitator and learning assessor in leadership for higher education.
She collaborates with a team of associates to deliver expert facilitation and training services for Sustainable Development projects for the Public and Private sector. The combination of her ability to motivate teams of short term experts to deliver, more than 15 years’ experience in facilitation and capacity development as well as her competency in project management and M&E for sustainable development projects means you can entrust her with a consulting assignment and know you can count on her full commitment to action and achieving high quality results.
Having recognized that strategies are often not being implemented, she developed, (together with the owner and founder of Participlan) a strategic planning implementation toolkit- and templates to support development institutions in driving strategy to implementation to achieve measurable results. She also trains project teams within organisations to use the facilitation methodology for project implementation teams. The sustainable projects work that she does has a large M&E component for which she has also developed a training program for local government development agencies.
